Obituary For Henry Lopez Galaviz

  • Henry Lopez Galaviz Born August 16, 1950. Henry Lopez Galaviz, age 74, passed away peacefully at home in Fresno, CA, on Friday December 20, 2024.

    Henry was born on August 16, 1950, in Dinuba, California to the late Stanley and Julia Galaviz. He was the sixth out of twelfth children. Henry was a strong Christian who lived by faith in Jesus Christ. He married the love of his life, the late Carolyn Ramona Carrillo on October 8, 1988. Four children, one girl and three boys, were born from this union, Evangelina, Andrew, Nicholas, and Vincent.

    Henry was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother, and a compadre, who touched the lives of those around him. He leaves behind many that will surely miss him. If you ever met Henry, he was a provider and showed tough love. He completed Automotive Mechanics at Fresno City College, in 1989 and devoted his life at a young age to the United States Army, as Heny Lopez Galaviz, Staff Sergeant, USAR. Having served faithfully and honorably, he received a Certificate of Retirement from the United States Army on March 11, 2010.

    He loved fishing and barbecuing. Took pride in the game of chess and loved playing bingo with his wife. He would always find ways to spend time with his children and build highlights in their life. He kept his children well dressed and taken care of. Henry was loved by everyone that was blessed to have him in their life and will surely be missed.

    May he rest in peace.

    Tio Henry aka Keke, I will truly miss you. When growing up you always made sure your nieces knew no matter what you will always have there back and never let any one make fun of your last name.
