Obituary For Johnny Joe Capuchin Sr.

Johnny Capuchin, 66 of Fresno passed away on November 20, 2024. John was a mechanic and farm laborer for over 40 years, until he retired from San Joaquin figs. John was a very well-known person and had lots of family and friends that loved him. He had a contagious laugh and a smile you could see from ear to ear, and he loved joking around and laughing. He had a great love for music and his Miami Dolphins and enjoyed fishing and barbequing. He was a hard worker and most of all a very patient man. He was a good husband, father and grandpa.

He is survived by his wife Lupe Capuchin, his daughter Maria Jane Capuchin Smith and her husband Brandon Smith and His son Johnny Joe Capuchin Jr and his stepsons Max Portillo and Danny Portillo and Step daughter Linda Portillo and grandchildren Elias, Tiffany, Denise, Desiree, Monet, Damion and Juan and 13 great grandkids. He is also survived by 6 brothers and 2 sisters and their spouses and several nieces and nephews. He proceeded in death by his father Lorenzo Capuchin ,his mother Ascencion Capuchin and his brothers Ralph Capuchin, Mario Capuchin and Benny Capuchin.

Johnny’s family and friends will forever cherish the laughter, love, and memories he left behind
