Obituary For Michael C. Baumgardner

Michael C. Baumgardner of Fresno, CA passed away

on Oct. 4th, 2024. He was 79 yrs. old. Michael was born in Santa Maria, CA on March 01, 1945, graduating from Santa Maria High School.

He retired from law enforcement after 17 years with the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department and Palm Springs Police Department.

Michael enjoyed watching the Rams on TV and caring for his beloved cats.

Preceded in death parents

Hubert and Zula Belle Baumgardner of Santa Maria, CA.

Twin sister Jeannie Stornetta of Fresno and older sister Nancy.

Michael is survived by his son Brian Baumgardner and wife Alicia, and grandson Kaelan Baumgardner all of Bakersfield, CA. His brother-in-law of Fresno , CA and nieces and nephews.

Michael will be missed.

    I worked with Michael at the fresno met. Museum. Fondest memories were the many talks we would have daily. On Saturdays we would take turn buying burritos for our lunch and talking way past our lunch period.
