Obituary For Modesta Frances Walker

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Modesta Frances Walker. A loving mother, devoted grandmother, beloved Sister to her 12 siblings and cherished friends, who passed away peacefully on September 17 at the age of 63.

Born in Oxnard, CA. daughter of Frances and Felix Juan Reyes Santiago. She was known for her infectious laughter, unwavering kindness, and exceptional culinary skills. Becoming a grandmother was an enormous pride for her. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who will always remember her warm hugs and bedtime stories.

Loved and missed by her children. Eldest daughter Yolanda Elva, wife to Edward Olheiser and mother too Meliza Frances. Middle daughter Arlene Marie, fiancée to Matthew Heron and mother to Arabella Clairerose. Youngest Richard Alexander, fiancée to Kristy Ward, and son Kyren.

It breaks our hearts to lose her, but our mother did not go alone. A part of us went with her, the day God took our mother home.

If tears could build a stairway, and heartaches make a lane, we would walk our way to heaven, and bring her back to us. In life she was loved clearly, in death we love her still, in our hearts we hold a place no one could ever fill. Our beloved mother.

I am so sorry for your loss. Miss you mom so much. When the one you live dies, it is hard to get over it. You have to slowly learn how to go on without them. But always keeping them tucked safely in your heart. You will forever be in my heart, mom.
